First Stop Brittany

Or rather, the beautiful town of Tregastel.   We arrived here a day after landing, following our drive across the top of France.   

We rented a small apartment – just enough space for the two of us and Lucca.  And it was just a 5 minute walk to our friends’ house, down the road and along the beach. 

What a pleasure to see and spend a little time with Iris, Stan, Sidney, Marjorie & Antoine.  The kids kept us entertained, we had some lovely walks along the “Coast of Pink Granite”, enjoyed Marjorie’s and Antoine’s stories of their first year as expatriates in Tokyo, and shared some excellent meals of seafood and galettes (like crepes, but made with buckwheat flour, and savory).
